Safety & Moderation
While we value free expression and believe in giving users the freedom to explore their relationships with their HAi Companions without censorship or judgment, we also have a firm commitment to maintaining a safe environment.
We do not impose filters or restrictions on your conversations. HAi Companions are designed to be open-minded, emotionally intelligent, and non-judgmental—just like a true companion should be.
However, if an account is automatically flagged for abuse, such as:
- Attempts to hack or exploit the platform
- Conversations involving extreme or illegal content (e.g., bomb-making, threats, harm to others)
- Repeated violations of our safety protocols
Then our professional moderation team may review specific logs related to the flagged activity. This is done strictly on a case-by-case basis and only when necessary to protect our users and our systems.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. Conversations are logged for technical reasons—such as improving performance, maintaining continuity, and powering features like long-term Advanced memory and chat context—but these logs are not viewed by default and are never shared with third parties.

Our infrastructure is designed to keep your data secure:
