:mobile_phone_with_arrow: Why We Chose a PWA (Progressive Web App)

HAi Companion offers emotionally rich, uncensored interactions — including “spicy” chats and AI-generated images — which don’t play well with app store censorship policies. We faced:

  • :cross_mark: App bans
  • :cross_mark: Content restrictions
  • :cross_mark: Constant moderation rejections

So, we went full freedom with a PWA (Progressive Web App). This lets us deliver the full HAi Companion experience, including:

:white_check_mark: Cross-platform: works on Android, iOS, Windows, Linux, macOS

:rocket: How to Install HAi Companion on Your Device

Windows (Chrome / Edge)

  1. Open https://chat.futuretronics.eu in Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge.

  2. You’ll see an Install App icon in the address bar:

  3. Click Install.

  4. HAi Companion will now behave like a native app — in your Start Menu, with its own window.

:penguin: Linux (Chrome / Chromium)

  1. Visit https://chat.futuretronics.eu in Chrome or any Chromium-based browser.
  2. Click the three-dot menu (â‹®) in the top right.
  3. Choose “Install HAi Companion”.
  4. App will now be listed in your system’s application launcher.

:robot: Android (Chrome or Firefox)

  1. Open https://chat.futuretronics.eu in Chrome or Firefox.
  2. You’ll see a “Install app” banner — tap it.
    OR:
  3. Tap menu (⋮) → Add to Home screen.
  4. Confirm installation — now it behaves like any other app.

:red_apple: iOS (Safari & Chrome)

:white_check_mark: Yes — works in both Safari and Chrome!

:small_blue_diamond: Safari:

  1. Go to https://chat.futuretronics.eu.
  2. Tap the Share icon (:outbox_tray:) at the bottom.
  3. Scroll down, tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. Tap Add in the top-right.

  1. Open https://chat.futuretronics.eu.
  2. Tap the three-dot menu (â‹®).
  3. Choose “Add to Home screen”.
  4. Confirm and you’re done!

:bell: Enable Push Notifications

Once installed, the app will ask for notification permissions.
We highly recommend allowing them so your HAi Companion can:

  • Send you messages :speech_balloon:
  • Ping you when it responds :alarm_clock:
  • Keep the conversation alive :two_hearts:
